The AEM 21-885C Performance Air Intake System is engineered to reduce intake restriction and deliver a cooler, denser air charge to your engine for improved horsepower and torque. This system replaces the restrictive factory air box with a mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube and an oversized AEM Dryflow synthetic washable air filter. To maintain lower intake temperatures, the kit includes a custom-shaped heat shield with an integrated lid to isolate the filter from engine bay heat.
- Dryflow Technology: Includes an oil-free, tapered cylinder AEM Dryflow synthetic filter providing excellent filtration and airflow.
- Premium Construction: The mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube is finished in a durable gunmetal gray powder coat for long-lasting protection and a clean engine bay aesthetic.
- Low Maintenance: The synthetic filter media can be used for up to 100,000 miles before cleaning is required, depending on driving conditions.
- Dyno-Tested Performance: Designed and tuned specifically for the 1.6L engine to ensure reliable power gains and throttle response.
