The aFe Power Momentum PRO 5R intake system is engineered to maximize airflow and performance for the S63 twin-turbo V8 engine. This system replaces the restrictive factory setup with twin, black rotomolded airboxes designed to insulate the intake charge from engine heat soak. CAD-designed intake tubes provide a smooth, aerodynamic path for airflow, allowing the engine to produce an additional 28 horsepower and 31 lbs. x ft. of torque.
This system uses a unique, patent-pending filter-to-housing interface that accommodates the largest filters possible for increased surface area and simplified installation. The included 360-degree radial flow Pro 5R filters feature five layers of progressively finer mesh oiled cotton gauze to provide maximum flow and protection. This high-performance configuration outflows the factory intake by 29%.
