Engineered for the redesigned W465 chassis, the Akrapovic Evolution Line (Titanium) exhaust system provides a significant performance upgrade through the entire RPM range. This system is constructed from high-grade, lightweight titanium, resulting in a 45% weight reduction compared to the stock Mercedes-AMG configuration. The exhaust features side-exit tailpipe routing designed specifically for the limited underbody space of the G-Wagon, finished with a specialized coating for long-term heat resistance and durability.
Performance testing on the Akrapovic dyno shows gains of 15.8 kW (21.4 hp) and 25.3 Nm of torque at 5,950 rpm. To manage acoustics, a pair of exhaust valves behind the rear mufflers provide a deep, sporty sound profile that remains ECE type-approved. This system is designed as a bolt-on solution and does not require ECU remapping.
