The ALTA Performance Lightened Crank Pulley is a precision-engineered upgrade designed to replace the heavy, multi-piece factory harmonic balancer. By significantly reducing rotational mass on the crankshaft, this pulley allows the engine to rev more freely and improves throttle response throughout the RPM range. Unlike underdrive pulleys, this 0% reduction version maintains the standard OEM diameter, ensuring your supercharger boost levels and accessory drive speeds remain at factory specifications.
Constructed from CNC-machined aluminum, this pulley also solves a common R53 failure point: the factory rubber-damped pulley is known to separate over time, leading to a loss of belt tension and potential engine damage. This solid, lightened design provides a permanent, reliable solution for street and track use.
