The ATI Super Damper provides essential protection against engine-damaging torsional crankshaft vibrations that factory balancers often fail to control at high RPM. This lightweight steel 3-ring harmonic balancer is engineered specifically for GM LS-series engines, featuring a precision-machined 6-groove and 4-groove pulley configuration to maintain correct accessory drive alignment. Unlike traditional bonded dampers, ATI's design uses high-durometer O-rings to absorb harmonics across the entire powerband, ensuring long-term engine health and stability.
