The ATI Super Damper (MPN ATI917304) is engineered to provide professional-grade protection against destructive torsional crankshaft vibrations. Unlike standard OEM balancers that use a single bonded rubber layer, this 3-ring elastomer damper utilizes a patented design to neutralize harmonics across the entire RPM range, preventing oil pump failure and crankshaft fatigue. This unit features a lightweight 7.48-inch aluminum shell and an integrated 28-tooth 8mm HTD (High Torque Drive) gear, specifically designed for high-performance applications requiring HTD-driven accessories or dry sump systems.
