Engineered for high-performance LS1 and LS2 engines in F-Body and V-Body applications, the ATI Super Damper (ATI917302) provides essential protection against crankshaft torsional vibration. This 7.48-inch lightweight aluminum damper is designed specifically for performance applications where the air conditioning system has been deleted, reducing parasitic drag and rotational mass.
Unlike OEM balancers, this 3-ring inertia weight design is tunable and rebuildable, ensuring long-term reliability and precise timing marks for high-RPM use. The aluminum outer shell construction significantly reduces weight compared to standard steel dampers, allowing for faster engine acceleration without sacrificing harmonic control.
