Designed for the GM L86 6.2L V8 engine, the ATI Super Damper (Part #ATI918645) provides essential protection against destructive torsional crankshaft vibrations. This 7.525-inch aluminum harmonic balancer features a dual-pulley design with 4 and 3-groove configurations to maintain factory accessory drive alignment while significantly improving engine longevity in both street and high-performance applications.
Unlike standard elastomer dampers, ATI's Super Damper uses a patented design that eliminates vibrations across all RPM ranges. The aluminum outer shell reduces rotating mass compared to steel versions, allowing for quicker throttle response and reduced parasitic loss on the crank.
