The Banks Power Techni-Cooler Intercooler System is engineered to eliminate the flow restrictions inherent in the factory cooling assembly, providing 14% more airflow than stock. While the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) unit uses plastic end tanks that can burst under high boost, the Techni-Cooler utilizes durable, custom-machined cast aluminum end tanks that are designed to withstand extreme pressures.
By increasing cooling capacity and delivering denser, oxygen-rich air to the cylinders, this system improves combustion efficiency and throttle response. The result is a significant reduction in exhaust gas temperatures (EGTs) and improved fuel economy, providing the constant-duty power required for heavy towing and steep grades without starving the radiator of vital airflow.
