The Banks Power Monster-Ram Gen-2 Intake System (42798-B) is engineered to solve a critical factory weakness while significantly improving airflow. On stock 6.7L engines, the factory grid heater is prone to failure, which can lead to severe internal engine damage. This system replaces the restrictive factory intake plate and grid heater with a high-flow Monster-Ram elbow and a reliable, high-flow coil heater. This design eliminates the risk of heater bolt failure and optimizes air pressure distribution across all cylinders.

By removing these factory bottlenecks, the Monster-Ram Gen-2 outflows the stock assembly by 88.3%. This results in quicker throttle response and better fuel efficiency without increasing turbine drive pressure. The kit includes a proprietary fuel line and all necessary hardware for a complete installation on factory mounting points. This system is 50-state emissions-compliant.
