The Banks Black-Ops Ram-Air differential cover is engineered to extend lubrication life by significantly reducing fluid temperatures. Unlike flat-back aftermarket covers that can actually impede cooling and fluid flow, this patented design utilizes Ram-Air scoops to force air through external heat radiation fins. In on-road towing tests, this system cools 5X better than high-capacity flat-back covers and demonstrated 118% better cooling performance than competitors in sustained 60mph tests.

Beyond thermal management, the internal geometry features a ring gear raceway that guides fluid directly to the ring and pinion interface and out to the axle tubes and bearings.
