The BBK Performance long tube header and X-pipe kit provides a complete exhaust solution designed to replace the restrictive factory exhaust manifold and mid-pipe. This system is engineered specifically for the S197 Mustang 4.6L 3V engine, utilizing 1-5/8" CNC mandrel-bent tubing to ensure unrestrictive exhaust flow and significant gains in horsepower and torque. The headers feature a polished silver ceramic coating, which provides a high-temp thermal barrier to reduce underhood temperatures and prevent corrosion.

The included high-flow X-pipe comes equipped with catalytic converters and is designed for a direct-fit connection to your factory cat-back exhaust system. Each header is built with heavy-duty 3/8" laser-cut exhaust flanges to prevent warping and uses BBK's patented scavenging collector design for improved exhaust extraction. The leak-free ball and socket connectors allow for easy installation of the mid-pipe without the need for traditional gaskets at that junction.
