The BBK Power Plus Series 80mm throttle body is engineered as a high-flow upgrade for race-oriented 5.0L engines. CNC-machined from high-quality 356 aluminum castings, this 80mm unit is specifically designed to work with aftermarket intake manifolds, providing up to 30% more airflow than the restrictive stock factory unit. The increased bore size directly translates to improved horsepower, torque, and sharper throttle response while maintaining OEM-level drivability.
Built for durability and precision, every BBK throttle body features OEM-style die-stamped linkages, double-sealed bearings, and O-ringed throttle shafts. This unit (MPN: 1514) is designed for a direct-replacement style installation that works with the factory tune, though it is intended for race applications as it has no provision for EGR.
