BMR manufactures these springs from chrome silicon high-tensile spring wire. Each coil is cold-wound on a CNC coiling machine to ensure exact diameter consistency and matched spring rates across the set. To prevent future sag, every spring is compressed solid twice at the factory to establish a permanent set. The manufacturing process includes stress-relieving at 750 degrees Fahrenheit and shot-peening to eliminate surface stresses, significantly extending the service life of the material.
