The Clutch Masters FX250 system is engineered for the street enthusiast and weekend racer who requires a significant upgrade in holding capacity without sacrificing the smooth engagement of a daily-driven vehicle. This kit provides a 110% increase in holding capacity over the factory setup, making it ideal for vehicles with increased boost or a spirited driving style.
This system utilizes the Power Plus I Heavy-Duty Pressure Plate paired with a unique dual-friction dampened disc. The disc features Clutch Masters' proprietary Fiber Tough friction material on the pressure plate side and a steel-backed organic friction material on the flywheel side. This combination offers higher torque capacity and better heat dissipation than traditional full-faced Kevlar discs while maintaining excellent streetability.
