The Clutch Masters FX400 system is engineered for extreme-duty performance, providing a substantial 170% increase in holding capacity over the factory equipment. This kit is designed for high-performance street use, road racing, and drag racing, offering the durability required for high-torque 2.0T applications without the harshness of a rigid hub.
At the core of the 17400-HDCL-D system is the Power Plus I High-Leverage Heavy-Duty pressure plate and a custom sprung ceramic disc. The dampened hub design allows for moderate engagement cushioning, making it significantly more manageable for street driving than solid designs while ensuring rapid heat dissipation and maximum grip under load.
