Fits 2024-2025 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD ZR2 and GMC Sierra 2500 HD AT4X.
The ZR2 and AT4X models come from the factory with a specialized ride height achieved via torsion bar clocking. While these models sit higher than standard trims, the increased height results in tie rod angles that are no longer flat with the centerlink. This geometry creates excessive stress on the steering system, leading to premature wear of the pitman and idler arms. The Cognito Super Stock Kit addresses these geometry flaws while maintaining the performance of the factory DSSV shocks.
This kit includes Cognito SM Series Upper Control Arms, which feature modified ball joint angles and increased caster to optimize alignment and handling at the taller ride height. To protect the steering system, the package includes the patented Cognito Pitman and Idler Arm Support Kit, which stabilizes the centerlink to prevent component failure and uneven tire wear. Front shock extenders are also provided to ensure full travel for the factory DSSV dampers.
