The Cometic MLS (Multi-Layer Steel) LHS Head Gasket is engineered for high-output engines that demand a superior seal without the need for additional sealants. This Left Hand Side gasket is constructed from multiple embossed layers of stainless steel to provide maximum strength and the ability to rebound under extreme cylinder pressures. The outer layers are coated on both sides with Viton, a fluor elastomer rubber material heat-resistant to 250°C (482°F), designed to conform to varied surface finishes and load conditions.

Ideal for both aluminum-to-aluminum and aluminum-to-cast iron block and head combinations, this gasket effectively withstands the shearing forces created by differing thermal expansion rates. Its design requires less clamp load, which helps minimize bore distortion for improved ring seal. This specific gasket is also compatible with World Products Man-o-War blocks.
