Fits 1992-1997 Subaru SVX (L, LS, LSi, LSL) with the EG33 3.3L engine.
This Cometic Multi-Layer Steel (MLS) head gasket is engineered to provide maximum sealing performance for the Subaru EG33 flat-six engine. Constructed from multiple embossed layers of high-grade stainless steel, this gasket offers superior rebound and corrosion resistance. The outer layers are coated on both sides with Viton, a fluoroelastomer rubber based material capable of withstanding temperatures up to 250°C (482°F).
The MLS design is specifically engineered to handle the shearing forces found in aluminum-to-aluminum or aluminum-to-cast iron engine configurations. By requiring less clamp load to achieve a reliable seal, this gasket helps reduce bore distortion during installation. No additional sealants are required.
