COMP Cams 5456 Cam Phaser Limiter Kit for Select 2007-2011 Cadillac, Chevrolet, GMC, and Hummer

Fits select 2007-2011 Cadillac CTS-V and Escalade, Chevrolet Corvette, GMC Sierra and Yukon Denali, and Hummer H2. This U.S. Patented COMP Cams Cam Phaser Limiter Kit is designed for GM Gen IV VVT engines to solve the clearance issues associated with high-performance camshaft upgrades.

While factory Variable Valve Timing (VVT) provides efficiency and broad power bands by adjusting cam timing up to 60 crank degrees, this wide range of movement severely limits piston-to-valve clearance when installing aggressive cam profiles. This kit restricts the cam timing movement to 20 degrees, providing the safety margin needed for camshafts with tighter lobe separations and more overlap without sacrificing the low-end torque and mid-range benefits of VVT technology.
