Fits select 1997-2007 Ford and Lincoln vehicles equipped with 4.6L and 5.4L Modular 2-valve and 3-valve engines, including F-150, Mustang GT, Expedition, and Navigator.

COMP Cams Beehive Valve Springs are engineered to deliver superior valvetrain stability while significantly reducing reciprocating mass. The unique beehive design features a smaller top diameter, which allows for the use of smaller, lighter retainers. This reduction in weight permits more aggressive camshaft profiles and higher RPM potential by minimizing the inertia the valvetrain must overcome.

Constructed from oval/multi-arc wire, these springs handle valvetrain stress more efficiently than traditional round wire. This geometry places the maximum area of the wire at the point of highest stress, improving heat dissipation and eliminating damaging harmonics that lead to valve float. These springs are an essential upgrade for Modular engine builds requiring better valve control and increased durability.
