The Competition Clutch CW-MZD-02 Counterweight Kit is a necessary component for 13B rotary engines when upgrading to a lightweight aftermarket flywheel. Because the factory flywheel often carries the rear engine balance, installing a performance aluminum or chromoly flywheel requires this separate counterweight to be mounted to the eccentric shaft. This kit ensures your rotating assembly remains properly balanced to prevent engine vibration and premature bearing wear.
- Compatible with both Turbo and Non-Turbo (NA) 1986-1988 Mazda RX-7 (FC) applications
- Essential for use with lightweight performance flywheels
