When upgrading to a lightweight performance flywheel on a rotary engine, maintaining proper rotating assembly balance is critical. The Competition Clutch CW-MZD-01 Counterweight Kit provides the necessary offset weight to ensure smooth engine operation and longevity after removing the factory flywheel. This kit is a required component for most aftermarket lightweight flywheel installations on second-generation (FC) and third-generation (FD) RX-7s.
