The CSF 8190 High-Performance All-Aluminum Auxiliary Radiator is engineered to manage the extreme thermal loads of the Mercedes-Benz M178 biturbo engine. This radiator serves a dual purpose: it supports the primary engine cooling system and acts as the heat exchange medium for the air-to-water charge-air coolers. By increasing fluid capacity and improving heat dissipation, this upgrade helps maintain lower intake air temperatures (IATs) and prevents heat soak during spirited driving or professional racing.

Constructed with a 2-row 42mm core, this unit offers a 100% increase in capacity over the 26mm OEM core. It utilizes CSF’s proprietary B-Tube technology, which increases the surface area for heat transfer by approximately 15% compared to standard oval tubes. The core also features ultra-efficient 6.5mm multi-louvered fins for maximum airflow contact. Every radiator is TIG-welded for durability and finished with a 1-hour hand polish to a mirror shine. For added protection, a detachable black rock guard is included to prevent core punctures from road debris.
