The S55 engine in the BMW F8X platform is highly susceptible to heat soak, which can significantly pull timing and reduce power output. The CSF #8075 Front Mount Heat Exchanger is engineered to address this thermal bottleneck by maximizing the efficiency of the charge-air cooling system. This all-aluminum radiator is a true drop-in upgrade that retains all factory mounting points, the OEM X-brace, and original air ducting while utilizing OEM-style "Quick-Connect" inlet/outlet fittings for a seamless installation.

To deliver superior cooling over the factory part, CSF utilizes a 2-row 42mm core featuring their proprietary B-Tube technology. Unlike standard oval tubes, the B-Tube design is rolled and seam-welded, increasing the heat transfer surface area by approximately 15%. A dual-pass flow structure ensures the coolant travels across the core twice before exiting, achieving the lowest possible outlet temperatures. Every unit is completed with a mirror-finish hand polish and includes a removable aluminum rock guard to protect the core from road debris.
