The CSF Magnum 8040 is a heavy-duty Bar & Plate intercooler core engineered for fabricators and tuners building high-horsepower forced induction systems. Rated for up to 1300 WHP, this horizontal-flow core provides the thermal mass and internal surface area required to manage intake air temperatures in extreme boost applications. Every core is hand-assembled using jigs and fixtures in a clean-room environment to ensure a perfectly square structure and a contaminant-free surface that is ready for immediate welding.
- Performance Rating: Supports up to 1300 WHP for high-output builds.
- Construction: Heavy-duty Bar & Plate design with high-precision staggered multi-louvered fins on both ambient and pressure sides.
- Manufacturing: Batch brazed in CSF's digital vacuum ovens for superior structural integrity.
- Quality Control: Each unit is individually pressure tested at 120 psi to ensure reliability under high-boost conditions.
- Fabricator Friendly: Hand-built in a clean room with gloves to provide a pristine surface for TIG welding custom end tanks.
