Standard factory A/C evaporators from the 1980s and 1990s were engineered for R12 refrigerant. When used with modern, environmentally friendly R134a, these legacy designs often fail to provide the necessary temperature differential for effective cabin cooling. The CSF 8368 OEM+ Performance Evaporator addresses this by utilizing a modern Cross Flow Parallel Dual Core design. This all-aluminum unit features 26mm 12-channel microtubes that maximize surface area contact and optimize flow for superior heat transfer with R134a.

Designed as a true plug-and-play solution, this evaporator requires no modifications for installation. It includes a specialized bracket to secure the original equipment expansion valve (Porsche: 92857312305 or 92857022300) along with the necessary hardware and O-rings. The unit is finished in an anti-corrosive satin black powder coat and comes with pre-installed foam to ensure a perfect seal within the HVAC housing.
