By replacing the factory handbrake button, this component disables the ratcheting lock mechanism, allowing the lever to return freely after being pulled. This enables quick, repetitive handbrake entries during drift or gymkhana maneuvers without the risk of the lever locking in the up position. For standard parking, the knob can be manually pulled forward to re-engage the locking function.
