The DBA 5000 Series T3 is a track-ready, two-piece slotted rotor engineered for high-demand braking environments. By utilizing a lightweight Alumalite center hat bolted to a high-carbon alloy iron ring, these rotors significantly reduce unsprung weight and rotating mass. This design allows the friction surface to expand and contract independently of the hub, minimizing thermal stress and preventing rotor warping during heavy track use or spirited driving.
- Two-Piece Construction: Reduces unsprung weight and improves heat management by isolating the friction ring from the hub.
- T3 Tri-Symmetrical Slotted Design: Features 48 precision CNC-machined slots to dampen vibration and provide a consistent, quiet pedal feel while effectively evacuating dust and gases.
- Kangaroo Paw Ventilation: A unique 144 diamond and teardrop pillar ventilation system that increases surface area and improves cooling efficiency over traditional straight-vane rotors.
