The DEI Exhaust Wrap Kit (MPN 10112) is a comprehensive solution for insulating headers or motorcycle pipes to manage radiant heat. This kit includes two 50-foot rolls of 2-inch wide tan exhaust wrap, engineered to handle the extreme temperatures generated by high-performance exhaust systems. By containing heat within the pipes, this wrap helps significantly lower under-hood temperatures and protects sensitive engine bay components from thermal damage.
To ensure a long-lasting finish, the kit includes an aerosol can of Aluminum HT Silicone Coating. This spray seals the wrap material, protecting it from moisture, oil, road grime, and abrasions while providing a professional metallic appearance. For secure mounting, the kit provides 12 stainless steel locking ties and a specialized installation tool to ensure the wrap remains tight and stationary through thousands of heat cycles.
