This thermal insulator is engineered from a high-temperature braided fiberglass sleeve heavily coated with 100% iron oxide silicone rubber. It provides a rugged, fireproof barrier that prevents vapor lock and fluid breakdown while shielding electrical harnesses from heat damage.
- Temperature Resistance: Rated for 500°F (260°C) continuous exposure and up to 2000°F (1093°C) of intermittent radiant heat.
- Durable Construction: Features a heavy silicone coating for superior resistance to oil, chemicals, and mechanical abrasion.
- Sizing & Fitment: 5/8-inch (0.625") internal diameter is specifically sized for 6AN and 8AN lines; the material can stretch 1/16" to 1/8" to accommodate existing fittings.
