DEI Heat Sheath GOLD provides a high-performance solution for protecting lines, hoses, and wiring from radiant heat damage and abrasion. Engineered with a high-temperature metalized polyimide lamination bonded to a robust 20oz heat-treated glass fiber base, this sleeving is designed to keep critical components cool in extreme engine bay environments. It effectively reflects up to 90% of radiant heat, helping to prevent vapor lock, wire degradation, and fluid overheating.
This 1-1/4 inch ID sleeve is reinforced with aramid thread for enhanced durability and flame retardancy. The slide-on design ensures a clean, continuous layer of protection for air intakes and fuel lines. Note: This product requires disconnecting one end of the line or hose for installation and should not be applied directly to exhaust components.
