DEI Heat Sheath GOLD (MPN 10916) provides critical thermal protection for lines, hoses, and wiring looms prone to heat-related failure or abrasion. This high-performance sleeving is constructed from a metalized polyimide lamination bonded to a robust 20oz heat-treated glass fiber base, allowing it to reflect up to 90% of radiant heat.
Designed for the most demanding engine bay environments, Heat Sheath GOLD keeps air intakes and fluid lines cool while remaining flexible. The sleeve is reinforced with aramid thread for maximum durability and flame-retardant performance. To install, simply disconnect one end of the line or hose, cut to length, and slide the sheath into place.
- Protects against radiant heat up to 800°F
- Base glass material rated to 1100°F
- Reflects up to 90% of radiant heat
- Reinforced with aramid thread for high abrasion resistance
- Tested to ASTM D1119 standards
- Dimensions: 1/2in ID x 36in length
