The DEI Heat Shroud GOLD (MPN 10924) provides a high-performance thermal barrier for protecting critical lines, hoses, and wiring without the need for component disconnection. This solution solves the problem of heat soak and abrasion-related failure by utilizing a high-temperature metalized polyimide lamination bonded to a robust 20oz heat-treated glass fiber base material. Designed to reflect up to 90% of radiant heat, it keeps components cool and flexible in the most demanding engine bay environments.
Featuring an integrated high-temperature hook-and-loop closure, this shroud allows for a quick, wrap-around installation on existing lines. This eliminates the labor-intensive process of removing one end of connected hoses or cables. The construction is reinforced with aramid thread for superior durability and flame-retardant performance.
