EBC Brakes BSD (Blade Sport Disc) rear rotors are engineered for performance drivers seeking improved thermal management and durability. Cast from a high-carbon thermally stable alloy, these rotors are designed to resist cracking and warping under the high-heat conditions common in spirited driving or track use.
The unique Vee Slot design, also known as the Silent Slot pattern, facilitates efficient heat dispersion and allows gas to vent while maintaining significantly quieter operation than traditional wide-slotted rotors. By helping the pads run cooler than standard OE-style rotors, the BSD series ensures consistent braking performance and reduced brake fade.
