The Fel-Pro 1646 Valve Cover Gasket Set is engineered for the challenging repair environment, specifically designed to provide a reliable seal on imperfect or warped sealing surfaces. As part of the Installers Advantage line, this set features proprietary Cork-Lam construction, which utilizes a solid metal core with cork-rubber material chemically and mechanically bonded to both sides.
- Cork-Lam Technology: Metal-core construction provides a thicker-than-normal gasket for exceptionally high torque retention and durability.
- Valvetrain Clearance: The increased thickness allows for additional clearance between the valvetrain components and the valve cover.
- High-Vacuum Performance: Engineered for applications where high-vacuum or blowout conditions present sealing challenges.
- Installer Focused: Designed to save time and solve common OE design issues while enhancing long-term sealing reliability.
