The Fel-Pro 1487 Performance Exhaust Header Gasket Set is engineered specifically for the repair environment to provide a reliable seal even on imperfect sealing surfaces. Constructed with a high-density fiber facing material bonded to both sides of a perforated steel core, these gaskets are significantly stronger than standard paper alternatives. This heavy-duty build provides maximum resistance to blowout and burnout from high-temperature exhaust gases.
These gaskets feature an anti-stick coating that allows for necessary motion without damaging the gasket while making removal much cleaner during future service. Designed with the Installers Advantage, the slotted bolt holes allow for easier header installation by enabling you to start the bolts before sliding the gasket into place.
