This Fidanza Aluminum Flywheel (MPN 161201) is engineered to reduce rotational mass, providing 40% to 60% weight reduction compared to stock OE units. By lowering the Moment of Inertia (MOI), this flywheel allows the engine to reach its power band faster, significantly improving throttle response and acceleration. The body is CNC-machined from high-grade billet 6061 T6 or 2024 T4 aluminum for exceptional strength and heat dissipation.
Designed for longevity and serviceability, it features a replaceable 1050 steel ring gear and a bolt-on heat-treated friction plate. This modular design allows you to replace the friction surface without replacing the entire flywheel. High-strength military-spec fasteners are used throughout for maximum reliability under high-RPM conditions.
