Fits 1970-1983 Nissan 240Z, 260Z, 280Z, and 280ZX models (2.8L).
Fidanza performance flywheels are engineered to reduce the moment of inertia, significantly improving throttle response and acceleration by freeing up horsepower previously lost to rotating mass. At 40% to 60% lighter than factory cast iron units, this aluminum flywheel allows the engine to reach its powerband faster without sacrificing reliability.
The body is CNC-machined from billet 6061 T6 or 2024 T4 aluminum and features a bolt-on replaceable friction plate made from heat-treated 1050 steel. This modular design allows you to service the friction surface during clutch changes without replacing or resurfacing the entire flywheel. For maximum durability, the assembly uses military-spec fasteners and a hardened 1050 steel ring gear.
