The Internal Floating Piston (IFP) separates the nitrogen charge from the shock oil to prevent aeration, while the integrated Hydraulic Top Out (HTO) piston provides a controlled cushion at the end of the extension stroke, preventing harsh bottoming-out during aggressive suspension drop-outs.
