The FOX 2.5 Performance Series HTO shock is a bolt-on upgrade engineered for heavy-duty trucks that demand superior damping control and heat management. Featuring an oversized 2.5-inch impact-extruded 6061-T6 aluminum body, this shock dissipates heat more efficiently than standard steel bodies while providing the internal volume necessary for consistent performance. The Internal Floating Piston (IFP) design separates the high-pressure nitrogen charge from the shock oil, eliminating aeration and ensuring fade-free damping during sustained off-road use.

Specifically tuned for the Ram 3500, this shock features Hydraulic Top Out (HTO) technology. HTO utilizes a secondary shim stack to slow the shaft speed during extension, effectively managing the rebound energy of heavy wheel and tire packages. This eliminates the harsh mechanical "top-out" clunk often felt in lifted applications, significantly increasing ride comfort and control on and off the pavement.
