Engineered to deliver race-proven damping control on the road and predictable handling in demanding off-road conditions, these shocks feature a massive 2.5-inch impact-extruded 6061-T6 aluminum body for superior heat dissipation. The Internal Floating Piston (IFP) design separates the shock oil from the high-pressure, nitrogen-charged gas chamber, preventing aeration and ensuring consistent performance across varying terrain.
This application-specific shock (MPN: 987-24-066) is built for longevity and serviceability, featuring a fully rebuildable and re-tunable internal design. The Hydraulic Top Out (HTO) piston helps manage harsh extension events, while the hard-chrome plated shaft resists corrosion and pitting.
