The Fox 2.5 Performance Series Smooth Body IFP HTO shock is engineered to provide superior damping for heavy-duty applications. Designed for the 2014-2025 Ram 3500 4WD, this shock utilizes a 2.5-inch impact-extruded 6061-T6 aluminum body to dissipate heat four times faster than conventional steel shocks, maintaining consistent performance under heavy loads. The Internal Floating Piston (IFP) architecture separates high-pressure nitrogen gas from the shock oil, eliminating aeration and preventing damping fade during repetitive cycles.

This Performance Series shock features a Hydraulic Top Out (HTO) piston to manage extension forces and high-flow velocity-sensitive damping for a controlled, connected ride. Each unit is fully rebuildable and re-tunable, ensuring long-term serviceability. The Type II clear-anodized finish protects against corrosion in harsh environments, while the 5/8-inch hard chrome-plated heat-treated alloy steel shaft provides a durable seal surface for the redundant sealing system.
