The Fox 2.5 Performance Series IFP front coilover is engineered to improve off-road capability and on-road comfort for the Ford F-150 platform. By utilizing a 2.5-inch impact-extruded 6061-T6 aluminum body, these shocks dissipate heat four times faster than conventional steel bodies, ensuring consistent, fade-resistant damping during spirited driving. The internal floating piston (IFP) design separates the high-pressure nitrogen gas from the shock oil, eliminating oil aeration and allowing the race-developed high-flow piston to deliver precise, velocity-sensitive damping.

Each coilover is specifically tuned for the F-150 to reduce vehicle sway and provide a connected feel on the street while extending drop-out travel for trail use. These units are fully rebuildable and re-tunable, providing a lifetime of serviceability and performance. The Type II clear-anodized finish and hard chrome shaft offer superior corrosion resistance in harsh environments.
