The FOX 2.5 Performance Series Smooth Body IFP HTO shock delivers race-proven damping technology in a bolt-on package. Designed to increase off-road capability and on-road comfort, these shocks utilize an impact-extruded 6061-T6 aluminum body to dissipate heat four times faster than conventional steel. The Internal Floating Piston (IFP) separates the high-pressure nitrogen gas from the shock oil, eliminating oil aeration and ensuring fade-free performance during spirited driving.

Equipped with a Hydraulic Top Out (HTO) piston, this shock manages the end of the extension stroke more effectively than standard bumpers, providing a smoother ride in rough terrain. The high-flow, velocity-sensitive damping is specifically tuned for your Ford truck, reducing vehicle sway and improving connection to the road. This fully rebuildable and re-tunable unit is built to withstand harsh environments with a clear-anodized finish and a 5/8-inch hard chrome-plated heat-treated alloy steel shaft.
