Engineered for heavy-duty performance, the Fox Performance Series 2.5 IFP shock provides the consistent damping and thermal management required for lifted GM HD trucks. The 2.5-inch diameter impact-extruded 6061-T6 aluminum body provides significantly more oil capacity and dissipates heat four times faster than conventional steel shocks, effectively preventing damping fade during strenuous off-road use or heavy towing. This unit features an Internal Floating Piston (IFP) that separates shock oil from the high-pressure nitrogen gas chamber, eliminating aeration to maintain predictable valving response.

A key feature of this application is the integrated Hydraulic Top Out (HTO) piston, which provides a cushioned stop at the end of the extension stroke. This protects the internal components and improves ride quality when the suspension reaches full droop. Fully rebuildable and re-tunable, these shocks are designed for longevity and precise control.
