The Fox 2.5 Performance Series IFP (Internal Floating Piston) rear shock is engineered to enhance the off-road capabilities and on-road manners of the 4th Generation Toyota Tacoma. By utilizing a 2.5-inch impact-extruded 6061-T6 aluminum body, this shock dissipates heat significantly more efficiently than conventional steel shocks, maintaining consistent damping performance even during aggressive cycles. The internal floating piston architecture separates the shock oil from the high-pressure nitrogen gas chamber, preventing aeration and ensuring fade-resistant, high-flow velocity-sensitive damping.

Designed for applications with 0 to 1 inch of rear lift, these shocks provide increased drop-out travel and vehicle stability. Every unit features an application-specific tune to reduce vehicle sway and provide a connected, controlled ride. The Type II clear-anodized finish and hard chrome-plated shaft provide superior corrosion resistance for long-term durability in harsh environments.
