The FTI Performance Street Racer Series torque converter is engineered for the high-performance enthusiast who demands reliability and consistent lock-up engagement. Designed specifically for the 8L90E automatic transmission, this 9.5-inch converter features a triple disc configuration to handle significantly more torque than a single-disc setup, making it ideal for heavier vehicles and high-horsepower street/strip applications.
Constructed with a CNC-machined billet cover to prevent flexing under high-pressure conditions, this unit provides a 3000 stall speed to improve off-the-line acceleration while maintaining streetable driving characteristics. This part replaces the factory torque converter for improved power transfer and thermal durability.
