GiroDisc A1-208 2-piece slotted rotors are a direct replacement for the factory front discs on the Performance-trim Model 3. These rotors utilize a floating design that allows the high-carbon iron friction ring to expand and contract independently of the aluminum hat when subjected to extreme heat, preventing the warping and pedal pulsation common with factory one-piece rotors. By utilizing a lightweight aluminum center hat, GiroDisc significantly reduces unsprung weight and rotational mass, improving both suspension response and acceleration.
