Designed for the Porsche Boxster Spyder (981), these GiroDisc slotted rear rotors are a high-performance 2-piece replacement for the factory one-piece units. By separating the friction surface from the mounting hat, GiroDisc reduces unsprung weight and improves thermal management under heavy braking conditions.
- 2-Piece Construction: Features a proprietary high-carbon iron rotor ring and a lightweight 6061-T6 aluminum center hat.
- Improved Cooling: Directional curved vanes act as a centrifugal pump, pulling air through the rotor to dissipate heat more efficiently than stock discs.
- Slotted Surface: Precision-machined slots evacuate brake dust, gases, and debris to maintain a clean pad-to-rotor contact patch.
- Direct Fitment: Engineered to bolt directly to the factory hubs without modification.
- Serviceable Design: The aluminum hats are reusable, allowing you to replace only the iron rotor rings (A2-049R) when they reach their wear limit.
